THE POWER OF THE PROCESS 1
It is normally an unpleasant feeling whenever things do not go the way we had planned or anticipated. It is sometimes even more painful when things do not happen the way we had prayed. The interruptions that happen in between our plans and the fulfillment of those plans are normally disheartening. This is usually just the necessary PROCESS through which God takes us in order to MAKE us what he wants us to be. Merriam Webster's dictionary defines Process as "a series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end or purpose".
God created each one of us for a specific purpose here on earth and in order for that purpose to be fulfilled there has to be a series of actions and steps taken. It is inherent in man to do whatever we want just as the bible said "There is a way that seems right to a man and appears straight before him, but at the end of it is the way of death" (Prov 14:12 AMP). we all choose a particular way of life to live whether it pleases God or not mostly we do not care and little do we know that right ahead of the life of our choice there lies unpleasant results. Sometimes we make plans that do not coincide with God's purpose for our lives and when God interrupts those plans it is normally very painful to bear. When the way that seemed right unto us gets interrupted it is usually a thing to cry about.
God's purpose necessitates the Process which many of us run away from or do not want to go through. When God wants to make a man a voice to reckon with in our generation, he takes him through the process. In whatever way God wants to raise a giant, whether in business, politics, ministry or otherwise, God takes that particular individual through the making process which normally interrupts the man's personal ideas, plans and goals. When God wanted to raise an Apostle inside Saul who became Paul, he interrupted his personal plan of wanting to persecute the church in Damascus. Paul was in the desert for three years after God told him about his assignment here on earth. The question is what was he doing in the desert for that period? He was going through the necessary process before his appearance in Jerusalem. God does not just purpose you for something without having to fully prepare you for it.
